"Alex, I want to take a few moments to let you know how much I appreciate what you have done for Jazz.  I remember a few short months ago when Jazz was afraid of her shadow.  She was scared to be tied, brushed or sprayed with fly spray . There was no chance I could ride her.  My friend (who has been riding horses for decades) and I spent over 2 hours trying to convince Jazz to load into her trailer.  When that failed, you came to my rescue and had Jazz in the trailer within 15 minutes.  What amazed me the most is that you showed Jazz that it was her idea to load and that it was a safe place to be.

You truely understand the horses and what their body language and behavior are saying. During my weekly lessons, I was able to witness the transition of Jazz into a mare with confidence in herself and comfort in her surroundings.  The first time I rode her, I was amazed that she was tolerating me on her back.  She was not freaking out.  I had expected a scared little horse, but she just walked around and was okay with the entire experience.

Alex shared, with me, how to better communicate with my horse.  I have ridden horses for a long time, but have never seen anyone so good with horses.  Alex can take any horse and help them achieve their best.

I am riding my little scaredy cat and she is happy and confident in what she does.

Thanks Alex for all that you shared with us!"

"Alex's methods helped start my horse Music (an off the track thoroughbred) who had major behavioral issues, and formed a stronger bond between the two of us. Her methods are simple to use but hugely successful. If you have any behavioral problems with your horse she can show you how to correct them without any extravagant measures."

"The mare didn't like her feet handled and was hard to mount, but within what seeemed like moments , Alex was able to pick up all four feet, mount, and dismount without a problem. We had another young, spoiled mare who had not been worked, had trouble lunging, and wouldn't move off the leg. Alex spent two hours with her and was quickly riding her without a bridle, just a lead rope and rope halter up and down the driveway. She is able to gain the horse's trust and respect, her methods are extremely natural"

"Alex helped me gain confidence and now I have two horses that she has trained. She has helped me with groundwork and riding. She helped me reach a closer relationship with my horses. I have learned to trust them and they have learned to trust me. I have to say, it is one of the coolest things!"

"Alex's talent with horses amazes me! She taught me to respect what my horse was telling ME!! And when I learned to listen to Anna, she then began to respect me, and our partnership has deepened more than I ever thought possible! The more I listen, the more I learn. Alex has an innate ability to "listen" to and work WITH the horse."

"I had a big heart and no sense when I adopted a "wild" PMU filly from Canada. Shipping took longer than expected and she arrived one month shy of a year old. The only human contact came from the truck driver herding them off and on the tractor trailer as she traveled 2800 miles to "home". It took me 6 weeks to finally get my hands on her by building a safe chute and feeding her in the tight quarters but was never able to touch her face. Once she learned the grooming felt good she was a "pet" but uncontrolled. It took me 2 years to conclude we needed help- as she got bigger we got older and our bones more valuable. I found Alex and both Deuces' and our lives got better.
Within 2 hours of arriving at our home,  Alex had Deuce haltered, leading and safely loaded on the horse trailer. AMAZING doesn't begin to describe how she handled "D" and made a connection with her.
I drove her to Alex's place and for 2 months Deuce went from a wild teenager to a well-mannered adult that leads, lunges, picks up feet, had front shoes put on, ties, trailer loads and for the first time we are able to pet her face.  The fear of her getting out of the pasture and not being able to catch her has been eliminated. Thank you Alex for all you did.
